My Xbox just red ringed on me after 4 years and I have a choice of upgrading to a Xbox 360 Slim or get a Wii used from Gamestop. I’m interested in the Wii and not so much with the Wii-U which is gonna be more expensive. Any ideas on what I should do?

Has Anyone Had Any Bad Experiences With The Nintendo Repair Center?

I recently had to send off my Wii to the Nintendo Repair service to get it all fixed up, because the disc drive was completely busted. Ok, simple problem, happens to a lot of people who have had their Wiis for a while (had mine for four years), so I sent it off to Dr. Mario to get it fixed, and a week and a bit later I got it back.
Ok, so I just plug in all of the cables and… Black screen. Ok, my component cable must be broken. Let’s try my composite cable and… Black screen. Take the scart adapter off my composite cable maybe? Black screen. F**k. They freaking sent me back my Wii, and they made it even worse.
So I called the Nintendo Support Team, they were really nice, and I just posted it back earlier today (with a lot of bubble wrap). All good. But I just want to ask people if anything like this has happened to them before? They said it was just a “one-off thing and it never happened before”, but I just want to know if they were telling the truth. Everything that I have heard about them is very good, they even gave my friend a brand new DS for £20 when he spilt orange juice on it. Has anyone had any bad experiences with them?

I love nintendo i still remember the good ol days when my dad brough me a super nintendo, or i forgot what its called and i loved it and i play the wii a little but cmon, cod bo2, halo 4, diablo 3 are all going crazy and no one cares about wiiU, more people care about the ipad 3 and it seems more people also care more about the ipad HD, do you think the good ol nintendo days are over, i think sony and microsoft will be the last ones standing

Alright it’s about my little sister again. Last time she was at the doctors in February of 2011. She was born on 1/01/02. She weighed 42 kilos about 92 pounds at a height of 4’6 was that a healthy weight? Now she weighs 107 pounds at a height of 4’9. She has muscles and she is extremely close to puberty. Should she go lose weight until she weighs 90 pounds? She eats her vegetables every night and works out every day on the wii fit for 30 min. Is it just baby fat? She drinks tons of water and barely eats sugar. How much should a 4’9 10 year old girl weigh?

i might be getting a Wii from someone & not sure how much to offer.
Apparently it doesn’t read disks (but i guess it can play games off an ext HD).
It’s ‘modded’ & includes 90 games, Wiimote, some wheels, some guns, etc.
What do you think it’s worth? Or should i hold out for one that still reads disks??
I’m in USA if it helps to know.

I’m on a diet and I’ve already reached my calorie goal for the day (I had a massive lunch) anyway, I was thinking about having 1 scrambled egg on 1 slice of toast and then go on my wii fit to work it off! If I do this does it mean I will still put the weight on the next day or will it burn off the egg on toast like straight away. Also how soon after should I exercise, like do I exercise really soon after to burn it off before it reaches my system or a while after to let it go down? I know this sounds weird but I am a diet freak!;) I hope this makes sense… Thanks for any answers.

It’s not too bad for maintaining a general fitness level but it’s still pretty lightweight. If you want something more intensive, check out the UFC, Zumba Fitness or EA Active games.
